About Me
I currently teach English as a second language at ELS Language Centers. The students are all adults and most are studying to be accepted into an institute of higher education. I also manage an ESL program for Baylor College of medicine, teaching PhD graduate students English. I am an IELTS examiner as well. Before working at ELS, I lived in Seoul, South Korea where I taught English as a second language.
My professional goal is to facilitate communication. Learning requires a holistic, communicative approach. Language learning is built on knowledge that they already have, be taught in a way that the student can practically use, and finally be a forum for open expression.
